.
The focus book for the second nine weeks is War Horse by Michael Morpurgo. All of your teachers really enjoyed reading this story, and we think you will as well. Although part of the story takes place in Great Britain, the battle settings in France help us understand the hardships and grim reality of World War I battlefields, trenches, and No Man’s Land.
